Class 2 HGV Driver

Class 2 HGV Driver (to be trained as a Vacuum Excavator Operator)

CSE Vacuum Excavation Hire are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Class 2 HGV Driver who is keen to be trained as a Vacuum Excavator Operator to join our growing team over a period of 6 to 8 weeks

We are one of the UK’s leading vacuum excavation companies, operating a modern fleet of MTS & RSP vacuum excavators across a wide range of civil engineering, utility, rail, airport, and infrastructure projects.

The Role - Class 2 HGV Driver

• Operating vacuum excavators safely and efficiently on customer sites
• Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
• Completing paperwork and digital job reports
• Working closely with site teams and second men
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism
• Representing CSE positively on-site

Requirements - Class 2 HGV Driver

• HGV Class 2 licence (essential)
• Previous vacuum excavation experience preferred but not essential
• Good understanding of health & safety
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• CSCS/CPCS/NRSWA tickets advantageous
