This role is temp to perm. What you''ll do on a typical day: Safely operate the delivery vehicle, adhering to business standards and protocols. Conduct thorough vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA regulations. Perform white goods deliveries, accompanied by a driver''s mate. Execute two types of deliveries: home deliveries and kerbside deliveries. For home deliveries, transport items to the customer''s room of choice, including carrying items to homes that may be several stories high. For kerbside deliveries, hand off items directly to individuals on building sites. Deliver items such as white goods (e.g., dishwashers, washing machines, fridges), kitchen units, and worktops. Handle multidrop deliveries, with the number of stops varying daily. Use a handheld scanner and complete all necessary paperwork.
