Extra shifts on Saturdays available. Duties of Class 2 HGV Driver Operate HGV in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely collection and drop-off of goods. Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, adhering to safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with legal requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered on routes. Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed. Uphold a professional appearance and behaviour when interacting with clients and colleagues.
