Class 2 Driver – Days | Launceston

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a busy palletised distribution operation based in Launceston.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for consistent Monday to Friday work, delivering palletised freight to customers across the local and wider area.

The Role:

• Class 2 (Category C) driving
• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am start
• Finish time: Until finish
• £17.00 per hour
• Ongoing work available
• Day shifts
• Delivering palletised freight to commercial and business customers
• Completing multi-drop deliveries across planned routes
• Ensuring goods are delivered safely, securely and on time
• Loading and unloading pallets using the appropriate equipment
• Completing delivery paperwork and electronic PODs where required
• Working to high standards of safety and customer service

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• Experience with palletised or multi-drop deliveries is advantageous
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Good knowledge of UK roads
• Good customer service skills
