The Role: Driving a Class 2 gritter vehicle Completing winter maintenance duties along a pre-determined route Ensuring roads are treated safely and efficiently Working predominantly during night shifts and in winter weather conditions Following route instructions and all relevant health and safety procedures Pay and Benefits: £16.81 per hour Overtime paid at time and a half Night shift allowance: £24.41 per night - Sunday to Thursday £48.81 per night - Friday and Saturday You will need: A valid Class 2 (C) licence, CPC and Digi Card Relevant commercial driving experience A good understanding of road safety Reliability and flexibility, particularly around winter weather conditions The ability to work independently and follow a set route This is a great opportunity for experienced Class 2 drivers looking for regular winter work with enhanced rates and allowances.
