Class 2 drivers needed in Northampton What does the job involve? • Delivering healthcare products to hospitals, clinics and patients'' homes • Up to 11 deliveries per day across the UK, including London • This is a handball role and may involve delivering products directly to hospital departments, clinics or customers'' rooms • Safe unloading of products using pump trucks and Material Handling Equipment, including Climb Stackers and Linde equipment • Full training will be provided on all MHE equipment • Completing delivery paperwork and PODs • Following all healthcare, safety and GDP requirements Shift Pattern • Monday to Friday • Start times between 04:00 and 06:00 • Basic: 42 hours per week • Over time: paid at basic rate for first 6 hours, Premium 1 kicks in from 48 hours • Premium 1 is paid up until midday Saturday, then the premium 2 rate is applied • Premium 2 rate all day Sunday • Unsociable rate: applies between the hours of 2000 and 0600Vehicles • Drivers may be required to operate 3.5T, 7.5T, 12T and 18T vehicles, depending on the route assigned. What are we looking for? • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence • CPC qualification • Digital Tachograph Card • Maximum 6 penalty points • Good attitude, reliability and attention to detail • Comfortable with a physically active role Additional Information • Full training will be provided • All candidates will be required to complete a DBS check ..... full job details .....
