Class 2 Driver

We are seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (C) Multi drop and trunk drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 2 (C) vehicle for General Haulage deliveries efficiently and safely across designated routes. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2  (C) lorry in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
• Multi drop and trunk deliveries general haulage
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license with a clean driving record 
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members
• Knowledge of health and safety standards
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability
• No more than 6 points showing on license
• No DD, DR & IN10

PAYE Pay rates:

Days - £16ph basic / overtime £21.33 – holidays accrued - £17.93ph basic / overtime £23.90ph – holidays included

Nights - £17ph basic / overtime £22.66ph- holidays accrued  - £19ph basic /overtime £25.33ph – holidays included
