Class 2 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Radlett Depot. We are looking for multiple Class 2 drivers to join the team.

Hours:- Monday to Friday 08:30am starts
Pay Rates: -17.92 PAYE Per Hour, over time after 40 hours -26.10 per hour PAYE-

The role:

.Collections and deliveries required (deliveries will be up to 5 stops and collections up to 15 stops)-
- Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.-
. Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses-
- Handle occasional push roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required.
- Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision, including shunting duties when required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
- Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements:
- Full UK licence with Class 2 entitlement (CAT C)
. 6 months experience required.
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
