Class 2 Driver

Job description: The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Swindon area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team. New Pass Welcome! Roles: HGV Class 2 nights - Sunday to Saturday, 5 out of 7 shifts a week (weekends included) Hours: Nights - 22:00pm - 23:59pm Pay Rate: Nights - 14.91 per hour PAYE rising to 15.61 Location: Swindon, SN3 Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate The role: Delivering palletized parcels to sub depots and delivery units and conducting collections. Using tail lift/pump truck to handle pallets at sub depots. Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle. Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient operations. Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills.
