Class 2 Driver

Search are currently recruiting for a number of HGV Class 2 drivers to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Middleton.Newly passed drivers will be considered for this role.This job involves dray deliveries. This is a 24/7 operation delivering to pubs and other licensed premises. This is double manned work however, you will need to help unload the vehicle at site.This is a full time position with a salary of 34,496.Key Responsibilities: Safely operate Class 2 vehicles. Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service. Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members. Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.Requirements: Valid Class 1 (C) driving license, CPC, Tacho card. Physically able to help load and unload at the clients premesis A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
