We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join a busy secure collections operation based in Gateshead.

This is a physically active role combining professional driving with customer-facing collection duties. You will be responsible for collecting confidential waste from customer sites, loading materials onto the vehicle, and ensuring all waste is transported securely and safely. The role involves regular manual handling, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy being hands-on and active throughout the working day. The position is based around secure collections and confidential waste management.

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle across the North East and surrounding areas
• Collecting confidential waste from commercial customer sites
• Loading and unloading secure waste containers and sacks
• Ensuring all materials are handled and transported securely
• Completing relevant paperwork and collection records
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling duties
• Ability to pass a DBS check if required

• £15.51 per hour
• £17.38 per hour including holiday pay
• Monday to Friday working pattern
• 06:00 starts
• Ongoing work with the opportunity of a permanent position
