Class 2 Driver Location: Basildon, EssexSalary: 17.36 per hour Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday Contract: PermanentWe are looking for a professional and experienced Class 2 Driver to join a leading manufacturing team in Basildon, Essex. This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, works safely and efficiently, and has a strong understanding of transport legislation and compliance. Duties of the Class 2 Driver:Safely and efficiently deliver and collect goodsComplete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptlyLoad and unload vehicles, ensuring all loads are safely secured and within legal weight limitsAccurately complete delivery notes, collection paperwork and check loaded goods to ensure the correct products are delivered to the correct locationsWork closely with the transport team, suppliers and customersReport any accidents, incidents and near misses in accordance with company proceduresComply with drivers'' hours, working time regulations and all relevant transport legislationWhat we''re looking for:A valid HGV Class 2 Licence and a valid Driver CPC qualificationPrevious experience within a logistics distribution and supply chain enviromentA full, clean UK driving licenceExcellent knowledge and experience of driving in LondonPhysically fit and able to undertake manual handling dutiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsA professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach to ..... full job details .....
