About the Role
Pertemps Glasgow Perm Hub is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm position based in Glenrothes. This role offers £15.58 per hour for a 40-hour week on day shifts. Duties include safe vehicle operation, collection and delivery across designated routes, and operating Skip or RoRo vehicles as required. The post holder will complete daily vehicle checks, manage defect reporting, and maintain accurate paperwork. A valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card are essential. The position demands strong health and safety compliance, road law adherence, and professional customer service.

Key Duties:
- Safe and efficient operation of Class 2 vehicles
- Collection and delivery duties across designated routes
- Operating Skip and/or RoRo vehicles where required
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery records are completed accurately
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and road compliance
- Providing professional customer service on site
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Skip/RoRo experience preferred
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Reliable, flexible, and safety conscious approach to work
