About the Role
The Class 2 Driver position based in Warrington offers a full-time contract role with a pay rate of £21.35 per hour. Drivers will operate from a prestigious client's depot, handling store deliveries along designated routes. The role involves transporting chilled and perishable goods, making approximately six drops per shift. Unloading is performed using roll cages, with deliveries required within scheduled time windows. Candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, a Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and possess at least six months of relevant driving experience. No major endorsements should appear on the licence. Overtime becomes available after 48 hours worked.
HGV Class 2 Driver
We are currently recruiting for HGV 2 / Class 2 Drivers to work out of one of our prestigious clients based in Warrington
For this HGV 2 / Class 2 Drivers role, you will be responsible for:
- Completing store deliveries across designated routes
- Transporting chilled and perishable goods safely and efficiently
- Making approximately 6 drops per shift
- Using roll cages to unload deliveries into store locations
- Ensuring deliveries are completed within scheduled time windows
What We're Looking For in the HGV Class 2 Driver:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No major driving endorsements

- Average 12-hour shifts
- AM start times between 01:00-05:00 (will include Saturday rota)
- PM start times between 14:00-21:00 (will include Sunday rota)
