Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm – £16.50/hour – Gloucester

Location: Gloucester, GL1
Pay: £16.50/hour + overtime available
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00 (45 hours/week minimum)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

We’re hiring a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Gloucester. This full-time role offers consistent weekday hours and the chance to transition into a permanent position with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections within a designated area
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring secure transport
• Perform daily vehicle checks using a company-issued device
• Communicate with the transport office to support delivery timelines
• Maintain high standards of legal compliance and road safety
• Represent the company professionally at client sites

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous multi-drop experience preferred
• ADR qualification is a bonus (training available)
• Physically fit, self-motivated, and customer-focused
