Class 2 driver

Class 2 Refuge driver needed. 37 hours paid for 30 hours work per week. About the Role:Monday to Friday 07:00 - 12:00 / 13:00Multistaff are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our clients team. You will be responsible for driving and operating a refuse collection vehicle as part of a crew, ensuring the safe and efficient collection of waste and recycling from residential and/or commercial properties.Key Responsibilities: Safely operate an HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicle in compliance with road safety regulations. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly. Work as part of a collection crew, assisting with the loading of waste and recycling where required. Follow allocated collection routes and schedules to ensure timely service. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach at all times. Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures. Requirements: A valid HGV Class 2 licence. Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Previous experience driving refuse/recycling vehicles Good knowledge of local routes and safe driving practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
