Location: Leigh
Shift times: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 17:00
Pay Rate: £15 per hour, ADR is paid at £16 per hour

We''re looking for full-time, Class 2 Drivers to join us at our site in Leigh with an immediate start on a temporary ongoing basis!

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding andamp; Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

What you''ll do on a typical day:

• Complete multi-drop pallet deliveries with 5 to 15 drops per day, depending on the route.
• Deliver to a mix of customer sites and branches across longer-distance routes.
• Around 60% of deliveries are FLT (Forklift Truck) offloaded, while the remaining require pump truck use, so there is an element of manual handling involved.
• Safely operate your Class 2 vehicle in line with business and road safety standards.
• Use a handheld scanner and complete all relevant paperwork accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and VOSA compliance.

What you need to succeed with our client:

• A valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence. (No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements).
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is essential.
• Solid understanding of the UK road network.
• A strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
