Class 2 Driver (Category C)

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a well-established and growing distribution business based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver looking for consistent weekday work, early starts, and long-term stability.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering carpets, flooring, and related products to both residential and commercial customers throughout Bristol and the surrounding areas.

This is a physically demanding role that involves regular manual handling and heavy lifting, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy being active and working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
Complete multi-drop deliveries across Bristol and the surrounding region
Load and unload carpets and flooring products at customer sites
Carry out daily vehicle inspections and safety checks
Complete delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently
Provide excellent customer service at all delivery locations
Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on schedule
Comply with all road transport, health and safety, and company regulations

Requirements

Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience is advantageous
Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
Good communication and customer service skills
Strong time management and reliability
Safety-conscious approach to work
