HGV Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative
Manpower are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy and well-established safety fencing depot based in Tormarton, Bristol.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining driving and yard duties, ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, physical tasks, and being part of a busy operational team.
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Completing local collections and deliveries using a Class 2 vehicle
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out general yard duties and depot maintenance
- Assisting with stock control and organising materials
- Operating plant and machinery (training provided where required)
- Ensuring the yard is kept safe, clean, and well maintained
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Supporting the wider depot team as needed
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Holds a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
- Has an understanding of health andamp; safety procedures
- Yard, warehouse, or logistics experience (desirable)
