Class 2 HGV Driver (Temporary)

Location: Derry
Pay Rate: £14 per hour
Working Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00
• Friday: 07:30 - 16:00
• Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00
  (Flexible working patterns available)

We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Class 2 HGV Driver to join a well-established and values-led business in Derry on a temporary basis.

This is a key role where you will act as a frontline representative of the branch, delivering products safely, efficiently, and with pride to both residential and commercial customers. As part of a multi-drop delivery operation, you will play an essential part in ensuring a first-class service experience every time.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, timely, and accurate multi-drop deliveries
• Ensure all deliveries are completed "on time, in full"
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and adhere to all safety and legal requirements
• Load and secure goods safely, supporting yard operations when required
• Work collaboratively with the branch team to maximise efficiency
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business professionally

What We''re Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence
• Full CPC and Tacho Card compliance
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory standards
• A professional attitude with pride in your work
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Not Essential

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• FLT experience (with or without a current licence
