Job Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 2 (C) vehicle in a safe and compliant manner
- Complete daily delivery and collection routes efficiently
- Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts, reporting any defects promptly
- Ensure loads are secured correctly and handled with care
- Follow all relevant driving regulations, company procedures, and site requirements
- Maintain accurate records as required, including delivery documentation
- Provide a professional service to customers and site staff at all times
- Adhere to working time and tachograph rules, ensuring full compliance
Required Skills andamp; Qualifications
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid digital tachograph card
- Good knowledge of UK road regulations and safe driving practices
- Experience driving a Class 2 vehicle (preferred) however newly passed considered
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle checks and delivery documentation
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Physically able to load/unload goods
- Willingness to follow health and safety procedures and company policies
