The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you''ll be delivering kitchen units to residential properties and building sites across the region. This is a physically active role involving multidrop deliveries and excellent customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle safely and professionally
- Delivering kitchen units to homes and construction sites
- Assisting with home deliveries, including taking goods into customers'' rooms where required
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring VOSA compliance
- Managing multidrop delivery routes
- Using handheld scanners and completing delivery paperwork
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
- Working alongside a driver''s mate on many deliveries
What We''re Looking For
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points (No DD, DR, CD or IN endorsements)
- Previous multidrop delivery experience preferred
- Good knowledge of UK roads
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A positive, reliable attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Pay andamp; Benefits
- £17.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday - No weekend work
- 05:30 AM start times
- Weekly pay
- 28 days paid holiday (pro rata)
