The job is straightforward and well suited to a driver looking for consistent weekday work.The Role Driving a Class 2 flatbed vehicleDelivering sheets of metal to customers and various sitesLoading and securing loads safely before leaving the yardUsing straps and appropriate securing equipment to safely secure metal sheetsCarrying out basic vehicle checks before and after shiftsEnsuring deliveries are made safely and on timeCompleting delivery paperwork and obtaining customer signatures where requiredMaintaining a professional and courteous approach with customersFollowing all relevant road safety, transport and company proceduresReporting any vehicle or load-related issues to management Working Hours and Pay Monday to FridayApproximately 8 hours per day£17.50 per hourRegular daytime workNo weekend work Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licenceCPC and Digital Tachograph CardPrevious Class 2 driving experienceExperience with flatbed vehicles is preferredExperience securing loads with straps is an advantageGood understanding of load safety and securing ..... full job details .....
