Class 2 Driver

ABS Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting for a-Class 2 Driver-on behalf of our client based in the Preston area.

This is an temp to-perm position. Can either be-full time-or Term Time ( 39 weeks a year )

As a-Class 2-driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods in a safe and timely manner.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced driver who enjoys working independently and has a strong customer service orientation
.
Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload goods from the vehicle. Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet delivery schedules
• Deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring accuracy and exceptional customer service
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
• Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or maintenance needs

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 driving license
• Excellent knowledge of road traffic laws and regulations
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to handle and prioritise multiple deliveries
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Must have no more than 9 points on licence.
