Class 2 Driver – NEW PASSES CONSIDERED Full Time | Heywood | £14.03ph + Bonus + Holiday Pay + OT at £21ph

VTA Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team in Heywood. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established and growing company that supplies industry traders across the North West.If you’re looking for a hands-on role with a company that truly values its team, we’d love to hear from you!

 Hours & Pay

• £14.03 per hour + bonus (rate increase after training)
• Overtime paid at £21.00 per hour
• 43.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Working hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm
• No weekend work

 About the Role

• Multidrop deliveries throughout North West, teamed up with a Drivers Mate in a 14tonne Class 2 Dual Temperature vehicle, running to a preset delivery route.
• Daily walkaround and vehicle checks
• Loading and unloading of vehicle, both at delivery points and on return to the depot, undertaking Manual Handling duties .
• Warehouse duties
• Customer facing role
• Handling P.O.D; payments and delivery paperwork
• On job training provided
• Physical role
• Manual and automatic fleet

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
• New passes considered
• Confidence driving MANUAL transmission vehicles
• Full CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No DR10 or IN10 convictions

Please note:

• Not all routes will get a driver’s mate, it would depend on weight of load, number of deliveries and geographical distance away from the depot.
• New passes will be considered, dependant on other experience for the role.
