Class 2 Driver

BBS Recruitment is an independent recruitment agency for transport and logistics sector, supplying to a variety of clients across UK.

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 refuse driver to work for our client based in Wandsworth.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily refuse and recycling collections.
• Operate machinery and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Assist with refuse loading duties to support the crew when required.
• Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed.
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and in real time.
• Carry out daily vehicle and machinery inspections before and after use.
• Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with members of the public and other road users.

Working Hours

• 2:00pm – 10:00pm, Monday to Friday.
• Some weekend working may be required.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Willingness to assist with refuse loading duties as part of the team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and reliable.
• Clean driving licence desirable.
