Class 2 Driver and Loader

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver / Refuse Loader to join a busy waste management operation in North Nottinghamshire.This is a hands-on role combining Class 2 driving duties with refuse loading responsibilities. While you will be required to operate a refuse collection vehicle, a large part of the role will involve supporting the wider team with the collection and loading of waste materials.Previous experience within waste management, refuse collection, recycling or local authority work is advantageous.Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle across designated routesAssist with the loading and collection of domestic and commercial wasteWork closely with loaders and operational staff to complete daily collections efficientlyAdhere to all health and safety procedures and road regulationsMaintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with the public Essential Requirements: Valid Class 2 (Category C) licenceMinimum 2 years Class 2 driving experienceValid CPC and Digital Tachograph CardComfortable carrying out physically demanding work in all weather conditionsFlexible and team-focused approach to workPrevious refuse or waste management experience beneficial but not essential What s on Offer?
