This temporary Class 2 Driver role in Preston offers £17.13 per hour with 42.5 guaranteed weekly hours and overtime paid at £25.70. Shift Patterns
Days: Monday - Friday, around the hours of 7am - 5pm with some Saturdays in busy times. Overtime will be required.
The Role
Following ADR training, you''ll be delivering to premises across the region in a Class 2 vehicle.
Key duties include:
- Multi-drop gas cylinder deliveries
- Providing excellent customer service
- Completing all deliveries safely and professionally
- Following drivers'' hours and tachograph regulations
- Maintaining high safety standards at all times
What We''re Looking For
Essential:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of drivers'' hours regulations
- Customer-focused approach
Desirable:
- ADR Class 2 in packages
Don''t have ADR£
Training opportunities are available for successful candidates, making this an excellent opportunity to gain a valuable qualification and develop your driving career.
Additional Information
- Minimum 1 year''s HGV experience required
- Roles available from October through to approximately April 2027 (weather dependent), permanent opportunities may be available after that
