Class 2 Driver (7.2t)

Our client is a well established manufacturer known for producing some of the best quality products on the market. They are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to represent them on the road.

You''ll be the face of the company at the customer''s door, driving products safely and on time to addresses across the UK. Nights away from home will be required, so you''ll need to be comfortable with time on the road.

• Monday to Friday

• Salary Increase In August (Amount TBC)

What You''ll Be Doing

• Driving long distances to deliver goods on time and in full
• Representing the company professionally at every customer interaction
• Getting delivery paperwork signed and returning it, along with fuel receipts, at the end of the shift
• Calling customers ahead of arrival and photographing completed deliveries
• Following all driving rules and regulations
• Keeping the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and checked daily
• Reporting any vehicle defects promptly
• Loading the vehicle safely and within weight limits
• Keeping the office updated on any route or schedule changes

What We''re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence with a valid Category C entitlement
• A valid digital tachograph card
• An understanding of the working time directive for a 7.2 tonne vehicle
• A professional, customer focused approach
