About the Role

Working from Thame, the Class 2 Cylinder Services Driver joins Pertemps Reading on a full-time, temp ongoing contract paying £19.28 per hour, with paid breaks. Shifts run Monday to Friday, starting between 06:00 and 07:00. Duties centre on multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders, roughly 15 to 20 drops each day, while following strict health and safety procedures set by the client. The driver also maintains the road worthiness, security and cleanliness of the allocated vehicle. Applicants need a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with no more than six points, held for at least two years, plus a current ADR qualification covering cylinders.

Location: Thame, Oxfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00-07:00 start times
Contract: Temp Ongoing (Potential permanent for the right candidate)
Pay: £19.28ph PAYE
Breaks: Paid
As the HGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver your duties will include:

Multi dropping approximately 15-20 drops per day delivering gas cylinders to customers
Adhering to strict Health & Safety operations as directed by the client
Ensuring the road worthiness, safekeeping and cleanliness of vehicle allocated

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence (Max 6 Points)
HGV Class 2 qualification held for 2 years minimum
A valid ADR licence with classification 2 (in packages) is essential
Excellent customer service
