Class 2 Cat C Driver

We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 Cat C Driver to join our well-established client''s logistics team based near Pershore, Worcesteshire. As an experienced and skilled Class 2 Truck Driver, the successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe transportation of goods and ensuring timely deliveries whilst adhering to all company and road safety regulations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills, with an emphasis on commercial driving experience.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Plan routes effectivelyand communicating with customers and despatch to optimise delivery schedules and minimise delays.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs.
• Adhere strictly to all road safety laws and company policies during driving operations
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when required, maintaining health and safety standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the vehicle throughout shifts.

Skills & Experience:

• Delivery Driver: 1 year (required)
• Class 2 Cat C Driving Licence (required)
• Digital Tachograph and Drivers CPC card (required)
• Proven experience as a commercial driver with demonstratable experience in driving Class 2 (Cat C) vehicles in a professional capacity
• Familiarity with delivery procedures and route planning in urban or rural environments
• Previous experience with delivery driver roles - Essential
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial driving.

Salary: -28-30K pa DOE + Company Benefits

Expected hours of work: 40-50 per week

Temp to Perm Contract.
