Class 2 and 1 Hgv Driver

Driver Hire Colchester-are currently recruiting for Class 1 and Class 2-HGV Drivers to join our team.

Our clients are based across the CO postcode; Colchester, Sudbury,-etc. They require drivers to cover busy periods, sickness and holiday.-

This-a temporary, adhoc role, part time shifts available-initally with potential for full time shifts.-

Class 2 LGV shifts pay-rate starts at -16.25-p/h weekday, Monday to Friday day work,-

Class 1 LGV shifts pay rate starts at -17.37-p/h weekday, Monday to Friday day work,-

Nights -21.00 - -23.00 p/h-

PAYE only - not umbrella - not LTD-

Job Details:

• Variety and flexibility. Opportunities to work for a variety of clients, no two weeks are the same. Choose your availabilty on a weekly bases and pick up work when it suits you.-

• Start times vary 04:00 and 07:00 AM.-

• Mainly Monday to Friday Day work, however-nights are available-

• Trunking, General haulage,- Curtain siders, Flat bed, Refrigerated trailers, Builders merchants, palletised deliveries-ETC

• Local and regional deliveries,

• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring full compliance with tachograph and driving regulations

• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

Requirements:

• Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence or Class 2 (CAT C) licence,-CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.

• No More then 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).

• Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).

• Must be able to work with both paper-based and PDA-based delivery systems.

• 2 yrs experience preferred but not essential

*Pay above is inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07%, other options for accruing holiday please ask.
