HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver-
Location: Coalville
Pay Rate: -18.50 per hour + Night Out Allowance
Shift Pattern: Tramping-


We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join a well-established and reputable transport operation based in Coalville.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who enjoy being out on the road throughout the week, with regular work, modern vehicles and straightforward deliveries.

The Role

• Tramping Monday to Friday with nights out in the vehicle.
  
  
• Nationwide deliveries and collections.
  
  
• Curtain-side and general haulage work.
  
  
• Completing pre- and post-vehicle checks.
  
  
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
  
  
• Completing all relevant paperwork and using electronic POD systems where required.
  
  
• Complying with all drivers'' hours, Working Time Directive and road transport legislation.
  
  
• Maintaining a professional standard of customer service at delivery and collection points.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
  
  
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
  
  
• Digital Tachograph Card.
  
  
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
  
  
• Good understanding of drivers'' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  
  
• A reliable, flexible and professional approach to work.
  
  
• Comfortable working away from home during the week.
