We are recruiting for a Class 1 Tramper Driver on behalf of our client based in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a physically fit and reliable driver who enjoys varied work, including the delivery and collection of caravans and motorhomes across the UK — with occasional trips into Europe. The Role: - Position: Class 1 HGV Tramper Driver - Base Location: Coventry - Salary: £41,600 per annum (paid at £800/week) - Overnight Allowance: £26.20 per night (tax-free expenses) - Fuel: Company fuel card provided - Schedule: Monday–Friday tramping, with nights out in the cab - Work Type: Transporting caravans and motorhomes to and from docks and dealers - Occasional European trips Duties: - Delivering and collecting caravans and motorhomes safely and securely - Ensuring all loads are correctly secured and comply with transport regulations - Performing daily vehicle checks and completing delivery paperwork - Representing the company professionally on the road and with customers - Nights out in vehicle during the week (with paid allowance) - Occasional cross-border trips into Europe Requirements: - Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence - Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card - Tramping experience (preferred) - Comfortable with overnight stays in the cab - Physically fit – some manual handling involved - Willingness to do European work throughout the year - Experience handling large/towable loads (advantageous but not essential) What’s On Offer: - £800 per week salary - £26.20/night for nights out - Company fuel card - Long-term, stable work with a professional and friendly team - Well-maintained vehicles and a supportive transport operation - A unique role working with caravans and motorhomes Love the open road?
