About the Role

Pertemps Reading is seeking a Class 1 Tanker Driver for a full-time, three-month contract based in Theale, paying between £20.50 and £22.50 per hour. Working Monday to Friday on an AM start rota, you will deliver bulk powder safely and efficiently, liaise with the Distribution Team and customers, and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards. You will also collaborate with Transport Management to optimise schedules and routes. Candidates need a Class 1 Licence, Digi Tacho, and CPC. Previous tanker experience is preferred but training is available. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Mon to Fri rota/ AM Start Times
As a Class 1 Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for:
-              Deliver bulk power safely and efficiently
-              Liaise and build positive relationships with the Distribution Team and external customers
-              Prioritise health, safety and environmental standards
-              Work closely with Transport Management to optimise schedules and routes
To be considered for this Class 1 Tanker Driver role, you should possess the following:
-              Previous Tanker experience (preferred) – training provided!
-              Class 1 Licence, Digi Tahco & CPC
-              Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-              Hard-working, positive attitude
