Class 1 Night Trunk Driver

Location: Rochdale, Middleton & Heywood

Shift: Nights
Start Times: Between 4:00pm and 8:00pm

Pay

• -17.00 per hour (PAYE)
• Up to -19.05 per hour with holiday pay included in the hourly rate

The Role

We are recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Trunk Drivers for ongoing contracts based across Rochdale, Middleton and Heywood.

Duties include:

• Night trunking to the Midlands and other locations across the North of England.
• Driving double-deck curtain-sided trailers.
• Opening and closing curtains on double-deck trailers where required.
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are carried out safely and professionally.
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport regulations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must have:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year.
• At least 1 year''s Class 1 driving experience.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• No endorsements that have resulted in a driving ban or disqualification.
• A professional, reliable and safety-focused approach.
