Class 1 Lead Driver Operative

TPA are a trusted UK provider of flexible access solutions, delivering temporary roadways and rail access for infrastructure, construction, and events projects nationwide.We are seeking confident Class 1 drivers to join our team in a role that involves working away Monday-Friday, delivering and installing temporary roadway solutions alongside a Portable Roadway Operative. Experience in a similar role or operating a lorry-mounted crane/loader is beneficial, though full training is provided. You''ll be equipped with a modern fleet featuring onboard welfare facilities, high-quality tools, seasonal PPE, and all necessary hygiene products making your environment as comfortable as possible and a home from home.This is a hands-on role offering responsibility, variety, and strong development opportunities beyond driving alone.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely load, transport, install, and recover equipment and hire fleetInspect, maintain and clean vehicles, trailers, cranes, and all equipmentCarry out daily risk assessments and checks before operationsCoordinate with customers, Stock Controller, and Logistics on schedules, site plans, and requirementsProvide customer familiarisation of equipment as neededConfirm daily panel movements and process all dispatches/collections through M42 systemIdentify, count and record damaged or missing items; ensure no excess materials ..... full job details .....
