Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver (Nights)

We are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Shunter Drivers to work night shifts for our client at East Midlands Gateway where the operation is continuing to grow due to customer demand. As a Shunter driver you will ensure yard movements are done correctly and support the smooth running of the operation. This role presents HGV Shunter drivers with ongoing year round work in a clean working environment. 

Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available:
Monday to Friday 6pm to 4am (10 hour shifts)
4 on 4 off nights - 6:30pm to 6:30am (12 hour shifts)

The successful Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will:
Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
Have a valid tacho and DQC card
Previous experience preferred but training provided
Have a positive can do attitude

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will include:
Moving trailers or units around the yard
Ensure safety of others in the yard

You will receive:
Nights - £18.75 per hour
Nights OT - £28.12 per hour
