Pertemps are currently recruiting Class 1 (C E) Night Drivers on behalf of our client based in Hereford. Whether you're looking for ongoing full-time work or extra shifts to boost your earnings, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, industry-leading company with an outstanding reputation.
Working Sunday to Thursday nights, you'll be completing straightforward trunk runs to a central location, with no handball involved, allowing you to focus on driving. Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.
The Role
As a Class 1 Night Driver, your responsibilities will include:
Collecting and delivering goods using a Class 1 (C E) vehicle
Completing delivery paperwork and documentation accurately
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Representing the company in a professional manner at all times
Providing excellent customer service
Following all road transport and health & safety regulations
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
A full UK Class 1 (Category C E) driving licence
A valid CPC qualification card
A valid Digital Tachograph card
A positive, professional, and reliable attitude
A team-focused approach with pride in maintaining vehicle standards
No more than 9 penalty points for minor endorsements
To be aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes)
Pay & Benefits
£19.00 per hour (exclusive of holiday pay)
Sunday to Thursday night shifts
Friday and Saturday nights off
Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed per shift
