Class 1 Hgv Driver

Our client, a well-established logistics and transport business based in Barnsley, is looking to recruit experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work.

We have immediate opportunities available on both day and night shifts:

• Day Shifts: Curtain sider general haulage
• Night Shifts: Trunking between distribution centres

These are excellent opportunities for professional drivers seeking regular, ongoing work with a reputable employer.

Duties

Days

• Curtain sider general haulage
• Deliveries and collections
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Ensuring all loads are transported safely and securely

Nights

• Trunking between RDCs and customer depots
• Minimal manual handling
• Pre- and post-shift vehicle checks
• Compliance with driver hours and transport legislation

Candidate Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Minimum 6 months'' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• No DR, DD or IN endorsements
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused
