Class 1 HGV Driver (Nights)

Location: North Weald, Epping, Essex, CM16 6AA

Salary: -45,000 per annum (based on a 50-hour week)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Drivers to join a well-established logistics operation based in North Weald, Essex.

This is a permanent night shift position, offering consistent work, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to become part of a professional transport team.

Shift Information

• Night shifts
• Start times between 7:00pm and 9:00pm
• Based on a 50-hour working week
  
• Guaranteed minimum 10 hours'' pay per shift

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled trunking deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Your duties will include:

• Completing scheduled trunk runs to the Birmingham hub
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Completing all relevant paperwork accurately
• Complying with all driver hours, tachograph and road transport regulations
• Representing the company professionally at all times

What We''re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you''ll need:

• A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience (preferred)
• Good communication skills
• A reliable, professional attitude with a strong work ethic
