About the Role

Pertemps Northampton seeks a Class 1 HGV Driver (C+E) for full-time, multi-drop work based in Northampton. You will deliver palletised goods to retail stores, covering regional routes that extend to Lowestoft. Each shift includes up to eight store deliveries, requiring use of a tail lift and professional customer interaction. Pay starts at £18.52 per hour for day shifts, rising to £27.78 for overtime, with a guaranteed minimum of eight hours’ pay per shift. Pay & Rewards

The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for:

Multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods
Up to 8 store deliveries per shift
Using a tail lift to unload deliveries
Placing pallets safely in designated delivery zones
Providing a professional and customer-focused service

Shifts Available
We operate 7 days per week and have a range of shift patterns available.

Priority will be given to drivers who can work at least one weekend day.

What We're Looking For
To be considered, you'll need:

Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid Driver CPC (DQC)
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience (or 1 year retail delivery experience)
No DD or DR convictions
Ability to complete:
- 1-day driving assessment
- 2-day paid induction
