Class 1 HGV Driver

We have an excellent opportunity for Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our client on a long term ongoing basis with the opportunity for permanent employment. Our client based in Ashbourne are looking to add drivers to undertake trunking work to rural sites. Class 1 Drivers can also if they desire undertake nights out. This would be up to 2 nights per week if wanted. This is not mandatory though.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available:
Monday to Friday
5:45am start

The successful Class 1 Driver will:
Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
Have a valid tacho and DQC card
Have a positive can do attitude and good communication skills

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:
Trunking goods around the UK to rural sites such as farms or remote locations.

You will receive:
Days - £18 per hour
Saturday - £21 per hour
Sunday - £23 per hour
Nights out - £25 per night out
