Class 1 HGV Driver

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-know company within the logistics and transportation industry What are the benefits?Monday to FridayStart time are between 04:00-12:30Paying 17 PH Guaranteed 8 hours per dayDrops/Collections or Trailer SwapsWeekly PayImmediate StartTraining ProvidedAccrued holiday weekly while on agencyDaily duties will consist of but are not limited to:-Operating and driving Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locationsPerforming pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsuring timely, safe and professional deliveries to customer sitesKnowledge of driving/working hoursCommunicating effectively with dispatch and customersReporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementKeeping the truck and equipment clean and tidy Essential SkillsMust have held licence minimum 24 monthsMust have minimum 24 months experience in HGV drivingNo more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.Must be able to speak and read a certain level of English.Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills.Effective communication skills.Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.Must be punctual and have good timekeepingDesirable ExperienceExperience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.What training is ..... full job details .....
