Class 1 HGV Driver

Major recruitment are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-known supplier. What are the benefits?This is a ongoing role with a option to go permanent Monday to Friday Days 16 PHWeekly PayImmediate StartTraining ProvidedAccrued holiday weekly while on agencyDaily duties will consist of but are not limited to:-Operating and driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locationsPerforming pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsuring timely, safe and professional deliveries to customer sitesKnowledge of driving/working hoursCommunicating effectively with dispatch and customersReporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementKeeping the truck and equipment clean and tidy Essential SkillsMust have held licence minimum 6 monthsMust have minimum 6 months experience in HGV drivingNo more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.Must be able to speak and read a certain level of English.Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills.Effective communication skills.Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.Desirable ExperienceExperience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.What training is provided?Industry related training and ongoing support throughout Contact Major Logistics on (phone number removed) or Apply with your CV ..... full job details .....
