Class 1 Hgv Driver

We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team. The role involves the safe and efficient collection and delivery of goods to customer sites and distribution centres.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Driving Class 1 (Category C+E) articulated vehicles.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Completing all required delivery paperwork accurately.
• Following drivers'' hours, Working Time and tachograph regulations.
• Securing loads correctly and safely.
• Loading and unloading where required.
• Maintaining regular communication with the transport office.
• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers'' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
