Class 1 HGV Drivers

Salary: £17.00 to £20.15 per hour (Inc Holiday pay)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Temp-to-Perm Opportunities)

Contract Length: 12 months (with the possibility of extension or permanent placement)

Expected Hours: Minimum 50 hours per week

We’re looking for HGV C&E Class 1 Day Drivers to join the team in Alfreton. Immediate starts are available!

All HGV Class 1 work is Trunking to RDC's with no Handballing. Fixed shift patterns available on guaranteed rotas.

There is potential to earn over £1000 per week based on shifts and overtime.

All Shifts are block-booked weekly with long-term opportunities.

What We Offer:

Flexible Working Hours: Choose between 10-hour or 12-hour shifts with both day and night shifts available.

Start Times: Flexible between 12:00 and 20:00

Day Rate: £17.00 per hour

Night Rate: £17.50 per hour

Saturday Rate: £19.05 per hour

Sunday Rate: £20.15 per hour

(All pay quoted is inclusive of holiday pay as part of a ‘rolled up’ rate)

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive HGV Class 1 vehicles and complete deliveries within specified time frames.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Complete daily checklists and paperwork as required.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.

What We Require:

• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience (essential).
• A valid HGV C&E Class 1 license.
• Must be reliable and flexible with working hours.
• A strong focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
