Overview Based from BALLYMONEY or BELFAST We are seeking energetic and reliable CLASS 1 DRIVERS to join our dynamic transportation team!This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of loads including Curtainsider, flatbeds, and lowloader work.As a key player in our logistics operations, you will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of freight across diverse routes within Ireland.Allocated vehicle - unless lorry is up for MOT so not chopping and changing. Duties Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles Ensuring timed deliveries to the best that road conditions allow. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Follow planned routes accurately while adapting to traffic conditions to meet delivery schedules. Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road. Requirements Valid Class 1 driver''s license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery. Experience of tramper work is desirable but not strictly a deal breaker. Good geographical knowledge of Ireland. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation.
