About the Role
Class 1 Drivers are needed by Pertemps Crewe for a client based in Byley, operating on a full-time contract basis with a salary range of £31,750 to £53,150 per annum. This role involves driving Flat Bed vehicles to deliver abnormal loads across the UK, supporting large engineering projects, construction, and plant machinery manufacturers. Key responsibilities include night outs, load restraint, abnormal load marking, and coordinating with cranes and escort vehicles. Applicants must hold a Class 1 Licence, CPC and Digi Card, with no more than six points, at least six months of experience, and a car licence held for two years. Shift patterns include AM starts at 10am and PM starts from 2200 to 0000.
HGV Class 1 Drivers needed
We are currently looking for HGV 1 / Class 1 Drivers to work out of our client based in Uttoxeter
For this HGV 1 / Class 1 Drivers role, you will be responsible for:
- Driving a Flat Bed vehicle
- Delivering abnormal loads throughout the UK in support of large engineering projects, the construction industry and manufacturers of plant machinery & commercial vehicles
- Need to be able to night out
- Load restraint, abnormal load marking, working with cranes and escort vehicles
- Class 1 Licence
- CPC & Digi Card
- No more than 6 points
- Need to have at least 6 months experience
- Need to have held car licence for at least 2 years
AM’s start at 10am, PM’s start from 2200 - 0000
Salary – Up to £53,150 P/A
