Class 1 Drivers

Direct Response Employment Services are seeking experienced Class 1 drivers to support one of our clients in the Chippenham area.

This will be a temporary role covering Ad-hock shifts, our client operates a 24/7 site so has shifts available on days and also on nights.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 lorries, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly
• Deliver goods to various locations, ensuring accurate and timely drop-offs
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including compliance with driving hours regulations
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained throughout shifts

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence with a clean driving record
• Aged over 25 years for insurance purposes.
• Have held their licence for 1 year minimum and have driven professionally within the last 6 months.
• Valid CPC and Digi
• Max 6 points, no DR10''s.
